The company is affiliated with a privately-held group involved in infrastructure projects, LPG bottling and distribution in Philippines and China, supply of crude and petroleum products, and commodities trading.

Fortrec was established in 1994 to promote and develop growth in the petrochemicals sector. Today, the company's involvement is not limited to just trading, but now includes adding value to existing business.
